It’s a short article but definitely worth a read. The names provided, whilst I suspect are only a small selection of what was considered, may seem a little odd (Tripod seems just downright silly) but it’s an interesting insight into the types of names Apple were considering before they put an “i” in front of the “phone”.
Sometimes the simplest solution isn’t the one we think of first.
