The retail veteran John Browett struck a humble note over his brief six-month stint with the consumer electronics giant Apple yesterday as he said he “just didn’t fit” with the business.
It was obvious from day one (some might say even before then) that Browett was not a good fit for Apple. Unless he has his own reality distortion field that he cranked up to 11 during the interview process then it’s still baffling to see quite how he was able to become SVP for Retail in the first place (and I doubt we’ll ever find out).
Seasonal refers to a temporary Apple employee who’s on a temporary contract. I know, I’m hilarious. ↩
