CEO of Starbucks defends his support of same-sex marriage

“If you feel, respectfully, that you can get a higher return than the 38 percent you got last year, it’s a free country. You can sell your shares of Starbucks and buy shares in another company. Thank you very much.”

A perfect answer. If you don’t agree with Starbucks’ policy then you’re free to invest elsewhere.

Despite anyone’s opinion on the way Starbucks had previously been handling their corporation tax here in the UK, Starbucks is still one of the few companies setting the trend with the public support of same-sex marriage.
